Teaching

My teaching is tied closely to my research. Since joining Leiden I have co-designed and repeatedly revised AI for Strategy (MSc), together with its undergraduate offshoot, AI for Business.

Both courses ask how strategy concepts change as firms adopt AI, and map those changes onto concrete use cases. Students learn to frame problems, surface the assumptions underneath them, and apply current AI tools to both. The link runs in both directions: the research supplies the material, and teaching it regularly produces research questions.

Thesis Supervision

I supervise B.Sc. and M.Sc. theses at LIACS where computer science methods meet questions about management and strategy. The work is technical: expect to build a system, run an experiment, or measure something at scale. Past theses from both bachelor and master programs are listed in the LIACS thesis repository, and several have grown into the peer-reviewed proceedings on the Research page.
